BCBS introduces GeoBlue
Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Massachusetts, US, has become the first health insurer in the state to offer its comprehensive health insurance coverage and services to members who travel or live overseas for their work. GeoBlue, a new insurance product made available to companies through a partnership with Highway to Health Worldwide, Inc., will provide an array of services that traditional domestic health insurance plans usually do not offer outside of the US. Richard Greenhalgh, vice president of ancillary benefits for BCBS, explained: “GeoBlue will provide businesses and employees peace of mind, as well as a seamless international network of providers to meet whatever health needs arise during overseas travel and assignments. Given the global nature of business these days, the need for total health solutions like GeoBlue is clear.” Key highlights of the international health insurance scheme are that it provides a network of selected hospitals and English-speaking doctors in nearly 200 countries; outpatient care co-ordination; 24/7 multilingual concierge services; online tools and mobile applications that will provide health and safety information for countries around the world; and access to emergency case management and evacuation.

Travel Health Insurance to USA from Canada? | Travel Tips ...
From knh959:
Anyplace that sells insurance will likely sell you travel insurance. If you have the time shop around because rates can fluctuate greatly from one company to another.
If you live in British Columbia try Coast Capital. I’ve always found their rates to be pretty good.
One more thing – if you are on a company extended health benefits plan you might already be covered for travel insurance. Check that before putting out good money for something you might not need.
From SaskAries:
CAA, Blue Cross, Co-operators etc, and your bank all sell it, as well as does any company who sell insurance for your home. The prices do differ, so phone around and get the best rate, you can also check online for the travel insurance. You really do not need all the extra insurance they will try to sell you like travel interruption, baggage, etc. It is more for a hospital visit that you will want it for.
I would call your bank first to see what kind of rates they offer, and then where ever you get your house insurance.
